Getting to Osprey

Osprey Landing is a relaxing and spectacular 3 1/2 hour drive SW of Calgary, Alberta. It is about the same distance NE of Spokane, Washington. Located centrally between Fernie (about 40 minutes east) and Cranbrook, British Columbia (about 20 minutes west), this is one of the largest mountain lakes located in the weekend vacation region (under 4 hours drive) from many of the larger market places located in the area.

This warm and dry geographic region is rapidly expanding in popularity based on the strong influx of both regional purchasers from the booming economies in Alberta and British Columbia, and from other National and International purchasers who recognize the area for its beautiful surroundings and rich activity driven recreational market through the approved and currently expanding Kimberley/Cranbrook International Airport only 30 minutes away.

Access the property from Highway 3, by driving about 3 minutes south through the Hamlet of Wardner, British Columbia. As you drive through Wardner, you will see the Osprey Landing Ridge overlooking the town from the South. Be welcomed by the Timber Frame Gate to Osprey Landing as you continue around the first corner of Wardner Kikomun Road, and enter into the property to look over the town, the Kootenay River at the mouth of Koocanusa Lake, and the majestic Rocky Mountain Range.
